Sinopsis Drama Korea The King’s Affection (2021)
Ketika permaisuri Putra Mahkota melahirkan anak kembar, si kembar dianggap sebagai tanda yang tidak menyenangkan, dan perintah dikirim untuk membunuh anak perempuan itu. Untuk menyelamatkannya, dia diam-diam dikirim keluar dari istana.
Beberapa tahun kemudian, putra kembar Lee Hwi meninggal karena suatu penyakit. Untuk menyembunyikan kematian putra kembarnya, sang ibu membawa kembali putrinya dan membesarkannya sebagai Pangeran Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi akhirnya menjadi putra mahkota. Khawatir identitas aslinya akan terungkap, Lee Hwi tidak dapat memiliki siapa pun yang dekat dengannya dan menyembunyikan emosinya dari orang lain, membuat komentar pedas.
Meskipun dia menjauhkan diri, dia mulai mengembangkan perasaan untuk Jung Ji Woon, gurunya yang berasal dari keluarga bangsawan. Jung Ji Woon adalah seorang guru dari Putra Mahkota sikangwon, sebuah kantor pemerintah dengan tujuan mendidik putra mahkota.
Ia digambarkan sebagai pria tampan yang berani, gigih, dan ulet, tetapi juga cenderung menjalani hidup apa adanya dan hidup bebas dari kekhawatiran duniawi sebagai seorang optimis yang menikmati hidup.
